Tour departs in early morning or early afternoon from the Wyndham Activities Center in Pagosa Springs. We'll transport you to the mountain above Pagosa for a ride that is 90% downhill.
This scenic mountain bike tour is ideal for older children and adults who don't want an arduous peddle up a steep mountain. Our van will backup your bike ride with water and your personal items and will be available to carry you up any inclines if need be.
You'll have spectacular scenery with views reaching over 100 miles away from the higher mountain vistas. Wildlife and an incredible variety of wild flowers are abundant on the descent down the Forest Service road.

You'll catch trophy Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat trout year-round while floating along one of the greatest fisheries in the U.S. The San Juan River runs cold and clear and is famous for its nymph and midge fishing, as well as dry fly fishing.
Our seasoned guides will take you to large trout along this high desert river. There is nothing quite like the thrill of a 20" trout fighting on the end of your line!

These are beginner trips to mountain valleys, river canyons or mountain tops. Our route will take us down river valleys through an awe-inspiring winter wonderland of giant icicles and a fairyland of ice sculptures.
You'll discover a multitude of wild animals and scenic wonders which abound in the Pagosa backcountry. Elk, wild turkeys, deer, bobcats, and mountain lions are often spotted. There are, generally, many eagles in the winter months.
Bring snacks and drinks and spending money for lunch at a local restaurant.
Availibility of snowshoeing and skiing depend upon current snow conditions. If we have no snow, hiking is available.
